I'm Ronald M. Cameron and I'm trying to find my biological father. I know him by two given names, 1. Jerrold Madison, and 2. Rodney William.

I've never heard him referred to by any other surname except Cameron.

I know he spent some time in Alcatraz for theft around 1947. He also, as part of his prison time, spent some time in the Chino facility, and San Bernardino County Jail.

I have not seen or heard from him since around 1955, plus or minus a year or two.

My birth certificate says he was born in Denver, Colo. I have a birth date of Sep 1903, but that could be wrong as it would make him 13 years older than my mother.

My mother married him in Nevada in 1942 or 43 and divorced him in Salt Lake City, Utah in the 1955 time frame.

Family stories were that he has at least one other sibling, probably a sister, and that his father died when he was a boy and that there was some sort of inheritance that should have come to him that he was never able to take advantage of.

He was an alcoholic, or at least drank a lot when I knew him.

It was said that he worked for the railroad, but I don't know which one. I do know that he was gone a lot and when he was home he wasn't a happy person.

Because of his work we lived in Lovelock, Nevada for a while when I was in about the 2nd grade. We then moved to Provo, Utah and then to Salt Lake City, Utah. That's where he left us.

I remember him having some artist talent. He could draw cartoon characters very well. I remember him sitting at the table and just drawing from memory.
